Run San Ramon – 5K/10K and Fastest Mile

The 2024 Run San Ramon presented by the City of San Ramon is celebrating its 39th year! Get a healthy start to your 4th of July with this Independence Day Classic. Enjoy the paved and looped 5K/10K course through San Ramon. The Fastest Mile is an out and back. All participants will receive a short sleeve commemorative shirt, bib, and participation medal. The Run San Ramon is a chip timed race.Registration Options:
Registration options include online, mail in, or in person at packet pick up on July 3rd fron 1:00pm-5:00pm at Sports Basement San Ramon. Online registration will remain open through July 3rd.
- 5K/10K Run and the FASTEST MILE
- T-Shirts, Bibs will be distributed at packet pick up on July 3rd at Sports Basement. For participants who cannot attend packet pick up race gear will be available on race day.
- Award Ceremony will take place after the last age group award winner has crossed the finish line.
- Free refreshments, ice cream, and fruit will be available for all participants!

Staff continually monitors guidelines from the State of California and Contra Costa County Health Department for community events and will release additional event specific information as it is available. Please continue to check the event website for the latest information or register now and receive e-mail notifications as information is released.

Swing by Sports Basement San Ramon, 1041 Market Place San Ramon, CA 94583, on Wednesday, July 3rd, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm to grab your shirt and bib. They have all of your race day essentials! Just show your bib at checkout for up to 20% off everything in store!
Race registration is available during packet pick up.

Race Day Packet Pick Up:
Shirts and bib numbers will be available from 6:45 am - 7:45 am on the day of the race for those who are unable to attend packet pick up or those who register after packet pick up.
Road Closure Information:
The following road closures will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024 due to the Run San Ramon 5K course:
- South Bound Alcosta Blvd. between Norris Canyon Road and Bollinger Canyon Road will be closed from 0530-1100
- East Bound Norris Canyon Road between Alcosta Blvd. and Bishop Drive will be closed from 0630-1100
- North Bound Bishop Drive between Norris Canyon Road and Executive Parkway will be closed from 0700-1100
- Executive Parkway between Bishop Drive and Alcosta Blvd (Using BR15 parking lot) will be closed from 0700-1100
- Camino Ramon between Executive and Norris Canyon Road will be closed from 0700-1100

Parking Information:
There are three parking lots available for Run San Ramon event parking.
There is no event parking in the neighborhoods surrounding central park or in the marketplace. Please refrain from parking in these areas.
